Art Fusion

North East Lincolnshire

The Art Fusion Project aims to increase access to, and participation in, visual arts activity for young people.
Young people will be encouraged to create pieces of original art work in a series of workshops.

The project will culminate in a celebration of the work created by young people at an art exhibition in the local area.
Groups who are already working to create pieces of art, can also enter the project and the final showcase.

Scunthorpe Young People's Film Festival 2008

North Lincolnshire

We'd love to hear from any young filmmakers with short films which they would like to be shown at the festival and entered into the competition. There will be awards for the winners of six different categories:

• Fiction (11-15 yrs)
• Fiction (16-19 yrs)
• Animation (11-15 yrs)
• Animation (16-19 yrs)
• Documentary (11-15 yrs)
• Documentary (16-19 yrs)

Submission guidelines

• Young people must be involved at every stage of production, i.e. script or story written/devised by young people, use of camera and sound equipment by young people and involvement in the editing process by young people.
• All films must be 10 minutes or under, and must be submitted on DVD no later than 28th July 2008.
• Films must not include any nudity or swearing.
• Any film not in English must be subtitled.
