Introduction
Creative Connexions has developed a range of creative activity that works to enrich young peoples learning in the community. We offer bespoke packages that work with young people to increase their confidence, self-esteem and communication skills. Activity can range from one off taster sessions, full day activity, week-long activity and long term courses. Again the types of creative activity that we provide are entirely up to you and the young people who take part. The activity can also be developed to suit the needs of the identified group of learners and how you want the activity to link in with their current study/activity.
We have worked with a vast range of community organisations across the Humber on many different topics and tackled many different issues. We also have the experience of working with varying abilities with specialist knowledge of behavioural and emotional issues and learners with special educational needs.
Projects can be run in your community utilising local venues or we can arrange for you to come to our creative studios, which is an excellent venue at the Ropewalk in Barton upon Humber. We also offer creative residentials, using Peat Rigg out door education centre in North Yorkshire, the residentials offer learners the opportunity to mix traditional out door activity with creative activity.
Learners will also have access to wider creative opportunities, linking in partner agencies such as BBC Blast in showcasing and furthering their creative talent.
